Marvelous Date-Stuffed French Toast Fingers
Crispy outside, gooey date spread inside—your new favorite breakfast treat or snack!
Ingredients (Serves 2–3)
✔️ 4 slices of toast bread (white or brioche works best)
✔️ Marvelous Date Spread (choose hazelnut, chocolate, espresso, almond, or plain)
✔️ 1 large egg
✔️ ¼ cup milk
✔️ ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
✔️ 1 tablespoon butter (for cooking)
✔️ 2 tablespoons brown sugar
✔️ 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions
1️⃣ Prep the Bread: Cut crusts off the toast slices and slice each piece into 2 or 3 fingers.
2️⃣ Add the Filling: Spread a layer of Marvelous date spread between two toast fingers like a sandwich. Press gently to seal. Repeat.
3️⃣ Prepare the Egg Mixture: In a shallow bowl, whisk egg, milk, and vanilla extract.
4️⃣ Dip Quickly: Lightly dip each filled finger in the egg mixture—just enough to coat without soaking.
5️⃣ Toast in the Pan: Heat butter over medium heat. Cook fingers until golden brown and crispy on all sides.
6️⃣ Coat in Cinnamon Sugar: Mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Toss warm fingers in the mixture to coat.
Serving Suggestions
Serve warm with a drizzle of Marvelous date syrup on top.
